Baylor NICU

Landon had his 3rd birthday party at the end of January and rather than people giving him presents we asked people to bring an item to be donated to the NICU at Baylor Dallas. This is the hospital that Logan spent a few days at after being transferred from Baylor Grapevine. While Logan was there, one of our favorite nurses was a lady named Lisa. She was so sweet and kind to our family. She stayed hours after her shift to be with us after Logan passed away and we have stayed in contact with her over the last 4 years. We wanted to donate these items in memory of Logan, so we took the day off from work to deliver them today.

The NICU always needs blankets and crib mobiles for the babies. We also wanted them to have a camera so that the families and nurses can use it for the little babies, because when you're in that situation a camera is often the last thing you think of to pack. When Logan was in the NICU, the nurses took pictures of him for us and we are so thankful for those precious memories. The camera they had when Logan was there wasn't in the best condition, so we thought they would benefit from an extra camera. Lisa told us today that their cameras are used a lot, so I'm glad that we were able to provide them with another one.

This cute little boy was excited to go this morning too! We also had a quick doctors appointment in Dallas today followed by a yummy lunch at The Hard Rock Cafe. Now it's back to work tomorrow!

Just came across your blog :)
Your little man is SO precious. My girls spent a long time in the NICU (5 months) before coming home. LOVED that you donated items, what a gracious heart!!!
