We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and we definitely have so much to be thankful for. We had Thanksgiving lunch in "W" at David's grandmas house. The weather was gorgeous, so we spent some time outside after stuffing ourselves full of turkey.

Landon had to tell cousin Abby about the "
aerpanes"!!

We went to my aunt's house after we left David's grandmas house. She had some new little piglets, and Landon got to get in their pen with them. This was an extremely new experience for him. He enjoyed being in the pen with the piglets, but did not want to touch them.

We did lots of traveling on Thanksgiving day...after we left my aunt's house we headed down south to see my parents. We always celebrate Christmas the first Saturday after Thanksgiving with my dad's family. This year my parents were in charge of hosting the Christmas party.

Landon loves his grandma...must be all the attention he gets from her! He is definitely loved!!

Landon with his cousin Brandon. Brandon is in the Army and stationed in SA, so we invited him over to celebrate with us. It was good to see him, and I know he enjoyed eating some good food!!

Here is the whole
Honkomp bunch.

Landon's great-granddad.

We always do the white elephant gift exchange...which is always fun because you never know what you will end up with. Landon got to help dad open his present.

Dad enjoying some yummy pecan pie.
The week long break from work was wonderful and just what we needed! Now just 2 1/2 more weeks until we get another break...sometimes being a teacher really isn't so bad. Ha!
