Rainforest Cafe

What a busy week this has been, not just at home but at school too!! It is Thursday and I am just now posting about last weekend. We had a garage sale on Saturday and got rid of some OLD furniture in our living room--YEAH!!!! So, on Sunday we ventured out to purchase some NEW furniture--YEAH!!!! On our way to look at furniture we took Landon to the Rainforest Cafe. So much fun!!
I think he has lost his "baby" look...he looks like a little boy here. :(
Landon wasn't too sure about the gorilla that was moving around behind him during the "thunderstorm" that was taking place in the Rainforest.

"Dad, you've got my back, right?"

Landon with a mouthful of pizza...yummy!

There was a different gorilla that was sitting on a boulder close to our table, and during the "thunderstoms" Landon kept a close eye on him.
After lunch we went to the furniture store and found some furniture that fits our needs! We were at the furniture store for several hours and Landon was an angel. He sat in his stroller and entertained himself with a balloon and a sugar cookie. Our furniture will be in soon so we have been busy painting the living room before the furniture arrives.

Dance, Dance, Dance

I wish I could have got Landon dancing on video more than I did. By the time I got the camera he was almost done. Sorry that it is sideways, but it is still cute!

Little Artist

Usually when Landon colors I have to hold his hand and make him color. Not today...he did ALL of it on his own!!
Look at that grip!

March of Dimes

What a great morning filled with thousands of people supporting a great cause...the health of babies. The March of Dimes uses 77 cents of each dollar raised on research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. What a wonderful thing!! The weather was great, no wind, no rain, and cool temps--the perfect morning for a 3.5 mile walk. Not only do we love the great things that this organization does, it also allows us to keep Logan's memory alive.
Thanks Jenn, Amy, and Lilly for walking with us!

Little man just strolling along.

Logan's sign in The Garden of Hope

Yep, Landon "did it!" Logan would be proud of his little brother!
A HUGE thank you to our family and friends who supported us this year!! Thank you for giving hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick.

Toga Party

Every day is such a great day with Landon. He is so funny and I love seeing the world through his eyes. A bad day can turn great the moment I see him, he always puts a smile on my face.
He is such a happy little boy.
The other day I was taking laundry out of the dryer and Landon was helping me. He took the following piece of clothing out of the dryer and put it on all by his big boy self!! David and I joked that he looked like he was going to a toga party!!

Such a silly boy!!
Oh, on another note...Landon's 2nd tooth is starting to appear!! Over 14 months old and just now getting his 2nd tooth...crazy!! And it is a top tooth, so he will have one bottom tooth and one top tooth!! I will try to get a picture!!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, a neighborhood church hosted an egg hunt for the kids. Landon hunted eggs in the 3 and under age group. He had a lot of fun and was oh so cute with his Easter basket.

Dad held the basket and Landon would go get eggs and put them in.

When the hunt was over, Landon sat down and took all of his eggs out of his basket one at a time, then put them all back in. He liked this game, mom and dad did too, as it kept little man busy.

My two favorite boys.

Easter Egg Decorating

Landon and I decorated eggs yesterday afternoon. Landon was mostly an observer, but he did get to help a little...that is when he wasn't throwing the eggs!!

In the picture above, Landon was trying to put a sticker on his egg, but the sticker kept sticking to his finger. So, he got fed up with the sticker, and before I could stop him he ate the sticker. I tried to fish it out of his mouth to no avail. Oh well, maybe he needed a few extra nutrients. :)
Such a handsome little blessing he is.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter!

Here is a picture of Landon at this time last year...
