Rangers Game

We took Landon to watch a Rangers game today! It was super hot, but a ton of fun!Fortunately, we were up in the top section in the shade with a pretty nice little breeze. We took a shuttle to the ballpark from the parking lot, and this little boy doesn't look like he was thrilled to be riding the bus, but I know he was! He loves buses, airplanes, and trucks! I loved watching him as we rode in the bus. I don't think he moved from this position...he was looking around and listening to the driver talk to the passengers on the intercom. Rangers get a home run! YEAH!!!! Landon was taking in all the excitement.
There was a sweet little girl that sat behind us named, Maddie, and she was the same age as Landon. She kept tapping on my shoulder...she really wanted to play with Landon, and Landon would just give her the cutest little shy grin! Both of them were so tired and hot by the end of the game.
We decided to beat the heat for a while and go get some cold treats.

Yummy! I just love this picture.
I got a popsicle and David got an ice cream cone, and we both shared with Landon. Landon really like the ice cream cone the best!
That's my boy cleaning his face after his tasty treats.

This sweet little face had a great time at the ballpark! I just knew he would fall asleep in the car on the way home since he missed his nap today....nope! He did everything he could to keep those eyes open and keep from falling asleep! So again, I just knew he would fall asleep as soon as I put him to bed tonight...nope! I heard him jumping in his bed and giggling for about 15 minutes before he tuckered out! What a great day!

My Boy

Doesn't Landon look like such a big kid in this picture?

I just LOVE him in this little soccer outfit! I hope that he will enjoy soccer as much as David does one day. I can't wait to go to his games and cheer him on!

This is the new face that he likes to make when I snap a picture:

So fun!

Mother's Day

We had a very nice little Mother's Day weekend... Happy Mother's Day, Mom! I love you!! My mom and sisters were here for part of the weekend, and Landon, of course, knows how to make any day feel special.I'm pretty sure Landon enjoyed these three while they were here! He eats up all the attention. Hopefully, Dad will be able to make the trip next time...we sure missed him!

Landon and I before going to eat at the Hibachi grill...yummy! I love being this little boys mom. Being a mom is definitely the best job in the world...there is nothing better!

Graduation Party

My mom and sisters came in this weekend for my cousin Kallie's graduation party. There was lots of food, family, and fun!My cousin Kallie and Aunt Linda.
Aunt Mary Ann and Mom.
Kim showed Landon how to play washers. We may have to invest in this game! Landon played it for close to an hour!!
My handsome little boy taking a break from all the excitement.

Little man would only get in the bounce house if no one else was in there. As soon as someone else came in, he would get out!
My sister Brittney and Grandmother.
This is Carter....those eyes are amazing!!

By the time we got home, Landon was one tired little boy. He had fun eating BBQ, playing in dirt, playing washers, and giving out hugs! When we were telling everyone goodbye, Landon said, "Bye everyone, love you"! It was so sweet!

Bedtime Stories

Landon LOVES his bedtime stories. I let him pick two books each night before bedtime, however, we always end up reading at least 3 or 4. Landon would want us to read books all night if we'd let him!
Looks like he can't make up his mind, which isn't the case at all. He chooses the same books every night!! It's so funny...he has a ton of books and he likes to hear the same ones over and over.

I hope his love for books doesn't go away.

Rocking Chair

I have been wanting to get Landon a rocking chair for quite some time now, I just didn't want to pay the hefty price that really cute ones come with. I found this old dusty one last weekend at a garage sale for $5!!
I tried to take Landon's picture with it, and he wouldn't take his hands out of his mouth. I think he must be getting some big teeth in the back. I finally had to tell him to show me his hands. Ha! Not the type of picture I was going for, but it works since he so stinkin' cute! I cleaned the chair up, painted it, and sealed it. Here is the finished product...

I think it turned out pretty cute! The total cost of this rocking chair was around $8. Painted rocking chairs online are $75 and up!
