Our Garden...

is starting to sprout (a few are things anyway)! I've never had a green thumb and I can't keep an ivy alive in my home, but with the help of David we can grow some veggies. With the heavy rains we got a few weeks ago, some of our things didn't grow like we had hoped. But that's okay because we have some....

tomatoes that should ripen soon, lots of squash beginning to sprout,
and some little bitty carrots.
We've never had any luck with carrots as they are always so small, but it's fun none the less.

I can't remember what we planted in this row, but I thought it looked pretty hearty so hopefully it will taste as good as it looks.

We also have a few stalks of corn beginning to grow as well as some onions, beans, and zucchini! So much fun! I love fried squash and zucchini and I can't wait to fry some up with chicken this summer! And no post is complete without a picture of my favorite little guy! He has a good time 'helping' with the garden too! :)
