March of Dimes

This is the 3rd year that we will be participating in the March of Dimes walk in memory of Logan. This is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the health of babies by reducing birth defects and infant mortality.

While I was on bedrest with Landon, I received weekly shots of progesterone to prevent pre-term labor. March of Dimes funded research that proved that progesterone shots do help prevent pre-term labor. This research may have played a part in the fact that we have Landon here and healthy.

If you would like to consider supporting this organization please click HERE to see our personal page. If financial support is not something you can do, please consider joining our team and walking for babies with us. We will even make you a shirt complete with Logan's picture!! These walks take place all over the United States. We will be walking on April 18th in Fort Worth, come join us!!

Friday the 13th...

Yep, it's Friday 13th, today is one of three to endure this year. The first came last month. The next is in November. Such a rare triple-threat occurs only once every 11 years. The fact that it is Friday 13th isn't going to stop us, because guess what...we are on SPRING BREAK!! Yeah, I'm so excited for a break, we are going to NB on Wednesday. While we are there we are going to take Landon to Sea World, ELMO will be there so it should be a good time.
No post is complete without at least one picture or video, so here you go...

Messy, messy, messy...

Mix some ravioli with some blueberry pomegranate juice and you get one messy little boy!

A first glimpse at "the tooth"...

Today is an absolutely gorgeous day outside, finally there is no wind to go along with the nice temperatures. Landon loved it outside and he wanted no help walking around.

There he goes, headed for the street...
It was much warmer outside than I orginally thought, so we made a quick change into some shorts and headed to the park.

Landon is much more interested in what the cute little girl is doing on the slide.

Checking out the woodchips...he tried to eat a few and he quickly found out that they don't taste that good.

Mr. Independent

Now that Landon is walking, he can maneuver his lawn mower around successfully. Before he could walk, he wanted so badly to walk behind the lawn mower, but he just wasn't able to keep the handle up and push at the same time. He sometimes gets so into his toys that he doesn't even want me around. I'll try to play with him and he pushes me away...little stinker! What's worse is when he goes to his room and closes the door. And I go to check on him by cracking the door and peeking in, and he comes to the door as quickly as he can to close the door in my face. He is definitely Mr. Independent. Oh how I love watching him get his little personality.
